Yesterday I attended the Expository Hearing and Pre-Trial Conference related to the joint application of Napocor and PSALM for increases to Napocor’s basic rates, filed on January 16 of this year and already provisionally approved, in part, by the ERC.
The good news is that we have lots of intervenors. Bad news is that the ECs didn’t seem to be represented in the intervenor groups – what’s up with that? As a group, ECs are the biggest customer of Napocor, I believe.
The other good news is that Napocor, at first glance, appears to be forthcoming with supplying lots of detail data to support their request. That’s great. This is a very large request and it is totally in Napocor’s best interest to have as many people as possible exposed to as much data as possible regarding their request.
I approached Napocor’s attorneys, who don’t know me from Adam, and they very graciously provided me with a CD of the supporting data files and hard copies of the filings, on the spot.
I haven’t hashed through the filing and data yet, but as I as start distilling the interesting stuff, I’ll be posting it here.
