Dang. If the U.S. Transportation Security Agency can blog, you would think one of our utilities here in the Philippines – or the ERC or DOE or NEA – could do something similar.
This is very nice. They’ve chosen a handful of interesting people and in the TSA’s case, they just give first names (may or may not be real). But clearly each post is written by an individual – who is identified by that name. So we can, for example, get a sense of “Bob’s” authenticity, credibility, interestingness, etc., and we know something of Bob’s background, when he came to the agency and from where.
Yeah, this is blogging. And they got Comments!!

interesting! I sure wish we could do that too. But as of now, we have this policy on who can only give “official statements”, and we sure don’t want to be “quoted”, you know how malicious Filipinos can be. Sad but true. But I sure would love to write about the work we do. I am planning to do that when I’m no longer connected to the company. Not sure when that will be… it’s as uncertain as privatization. Hehehe…
