This coming March 2, 2008 is the day of the referendum, wherein the member-consumers will decide the options for SOCOTECO II future modality:To remain as non-stock, non-profit cooperative under NEA
To convert as stock corporation under SEC
To convert as stock cooperative under CDA
At my last count (pdf list) there were 14 ECs that had converted to CDA registration. I’m not aware of any that have registered as a stock corporation under SEC.
