Google Earth has a new Search capability. If you’re browsing the Philippines, say, and type in “San Lorenzo Power Plant” into the Search box, it will find the coordinates in a kmz file I posted to the internet last year and you can “fly” to the power plant.
There are a bunch of other power plants in the file. E.g. Calaca, Ilijan, etc. Try it out. It doesn’t find them all; seems you have to be in the general area first, or zoom out to a wider view.
