Utility Websites and PR

If your website is disconnected from reality, it can worse than not having one (from a PR perspective).

Matt, from 37signals the company that makes the wonderful project management software I use, in the latter part of this post scores Jetblue for the disconnectedness of it’s online site with what was happening in the real world.

It’s the very same issue I raised here about the Meralco site during typhoon Milenyo.

A URL is just bits and bytes. They can be changed instantaneously. Utilities should do that – and not miss the PR opportunity.
