Here’s an interesting short video on YouTube of a 4.5 MW Biomass plant in India burning bagasse and palm frawns. Some nice, if brief, clips of the plant’s process and equipment and you get an idea of just how big a 4.5 MW biomass plant is.

But the video’s script is confusing. Also, the statement that the plant is “carbon neutral” sounds horribly flimsy. And the assertion that 1000s of these plants could be constructed across India with “no environmental impact” is simply silly.

Why do they need to oversell this stuff?
