Google Earth

I’ve updated my Google Earth kmz file of Philippine Power Plants.

A contractor working at the Shell Refinery site in Tabangao, Batangas City sent me an email saying I had previously mistakenly identified that site as the Ilijan Plant.

I believe he’s right because I can’t locate the turbine structures or switchyard. But I did find the First Gas Sta. Rita and San Lorenzo plants and I’ve added them to the file.

    Yeah, that’s our plant. You can see the First Gas (Santa Rita) and FGP Corp (San Lorenzo) Logo painted in the roof.

    Yeah, I thought that was pretty cool too. I don’t know why I can’t find Ilijan – maybe the satellite photos on that side of the bay are older and it’s just not there.
