I had to chuckle, at CalEnergy’s expense, today when I read Alfie’s post regarding a web search with the keywords “minimum, bid, masiway, generating, assets.”
But frankly it wasn’t fair. My read is that the person was searching for discussion regarding that subject – a very wise thing to do – not the minimum bids themselves.
Had I been on the team I would have been scouring the net with dozens of pre-programmed searches feeding my RSS reader (so probably not traceable). That’s called due diligence. Can you imagine a active discussion taking place on the web and your team didn’t know about it?!
Oh … I also find the $1000/kW bid by SN Power Aboitiz amusing – good catch.
