You can tell the lawyers are in control and not the economists or engineers when the ERC issues a Press Release to the public as arcane as today’s - and gets the numbers wrong by an order of magnitude to boot.

I can only guess that the reason has something to do with the Chairman’s use of the word "just" in his statement.

So I’ve taken the liberty of enhancing the statement with a few more additional justs:

 “The ERC would like to clarify that what it has determined is just the MAR which shall be [just] the basis for determining [just] the transmission cost that will be passed on to [just] the electricity end consumers."
