ETRM

Here’s a nice blog by Andrew Bruce on Energy Trading and Risk Management at the [ETRM Community Blog]. Is seems Andrew grew up on the Isle of Man but presumably is sitting somewhere in UtiliPoint’s Houston office tower right now.

Anyway, this looks like a nice resource and an honest-to-goodness blog that is supported by the UtiliPoint and the ETRM Software Community.

[Update] How did I find Andrew? Technorati. I showed up on his blogroll over on the left side of his page. If you don’t have an RSS feed for a search on your own corporate name, how will you know what people are saying about you?

    Thanks for the link Nick. Yep you guessed correctly, I am based in Houston, Texas US. I started with UtiliPoint in February, and am using the blog as a way to communicate with members of the ETRM community. I’m finding it to be a tremndous tool, and I wrote a piece in UtiliPoint’s Issue Alert about how companies need to take blogs seriously here: http://etrmcommunity.com/site/modules/wordpress/2006/04/03/whos-talking-about-you/
